MONDAY
Couch to 5k Homework Run Every Monday during our Couch to 5K Program, the group will meet at 6pm outside of the James L. McIntyre (East St.) Library for “Day 3” of that week’s training plan.
WEDNESDAY
Sault Stryders Couch to 5k (C25K) This group for new or returning runners meets outside the James L. McIntyre (East St.) Library at 6pm. The Wednesday run is “Day 1” of each week’s training plan. Over the course of nine weeks we will gradually progress from a walk-run until we are running a full 5km. This program will wrap up on the tenth week with our Summer Solstice Fun Run. Individuals who complete the program will also receive a discount code to register for the Community Strong Festival 5km Colour Run. Please Note: Pre-Registration is required to participate in this program and receive your discount code.
Wednesday Night Group Run This group meets at 6:45pm outside the James L. McIntyre (East St.) Library. Anyone is welcome at this run which follows a flat, easy course along the waterfront. Push yourself or keep it social; we always make sure that nobody gets left behind.
FRIDAY
Couch to 5k Homework Run Every Friday during our Couch to 5K Program, the group will meet at 6:15pm outside of the James L. McIntyre (East St.) Library for “Day 2” of that week’s training plan.
SATURDAY
There are no Stryders group runs on Saturday, but our friends from Parkrun have resumed the Bellevue Parkrun on Saturday mornings at 9am. Go to https://www.parkrun.ca/bellevue/ or check their Facebook Page for details.
SUNDAY
Sunday 10K This group meets at 10am for a ~10km run. The location changes and the distance may vary slightly. Check weekly social media posts for details about each week’s run.
